Certified Safe School, LLC (“CSS,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you when you visit any CSS-owned websites and domains and the websites and domains of our affiliates, including www.certifiedsafeschool, or any of the foregoing available on or through a mobile computing device, or use our other products and services that include an authorized link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”), how we use the information we collect, with whom we share it, and the choices we offer you regarding our collection and use of such information. Your use of the Services, and continued use of the Services following any changes to the Privacy Policy, signifies your consent to be legally bound by both the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services or provide any information to us.

The Information We Collect

We may collect personal information about you, meaning information that can uniquely identify you, from various sources, such as:

  • Directly from you when you use the Services, such as when an account is created and/ or if you access certain features or content; and

Social media networks operate independently from CSS, and we are not responsible for social media networks’ interfaces or privacy or security practices. Please refer to the privacy settings of the applicable social media platform or application to determine how you may manage the interactivity between CSS and your social media account. We additionally use cookies on this website and use Google for servicing fonts.

USAGE INFORMATION

We may also collect certain indirect and/or aggregate information as a result of your use of, and interaction with, the Services (“Usage Information”). To collect Usage Information and track and record how you use the Services, we may use certain standard web measurement and tracking technologies such as “cookies,” web server logs, or other statistics programs. This data is anonymous and does not personally identify you. Usage Information helps us measure the success of the Services and its features or pages and to improve your online experience. In addition, we may utilize web beacons (also known as “action tags” or “one pixel .gif files”), provided by our advertising serving partner, to measure the effectiveness of, and otherwise manage, our online advertising. These web beacons enable our advertising server to recognize you when you access our Services and to determine which banner ads bring users to our Services. We do not use spy ware, adware or any other similarly intrusive software.

Use of Information Collected

We use your information in order to provide the services you request and to analyze, manage and improve the Services so that we may continually strive to provide you with the best possible user experience. In compliance with applicable laws, it is our policy to require only the personal information necessary to enable us to complete the specific transaction that you request; we do not condition your participation in any specific activity on our Services, including any transaction, on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to complete such that specific activity and/or transaction. Information such as traffic patterns and the number of page visits help us to further develop and improve the Services to better meet your needs. In such transactions, your personal information may be included in the transferred business assets. We may use your Usage Information to identify and develop products and services that may be of interest to you and/or share this information with certain third parties for direct marketing purposes with respect to special offers, products, services, programs, promotions, surveys, publications, invitations or other opportunities that may be of interest to certain demographic groups. We do not sell your personal information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. Under the laws of some jurisdictions, you may be entitled to request disclosure regarding how we share your Usage Information with third parties for direct marketing purposes (“Information-Sharing Disclosure”). We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Our Services may contain links to other websites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the collection, use or disclosure of information collected through third-party websites and expressly disclaim any liability related to such collection, use or disclosure. We are also not responsible for any information or content contained on such websites. Links and hyperlinks to other websites are provided solely as a convenience. Your browsing, use and interaction on any other websites, including websites which have a link to the Services, are subject to that website’s own rules and policies. Accordingly, we recommend that you review the privacy policy posted on any website that you may access through, or which links to the Services.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. We recommend that parents actively participate in their children’s use of the Internet. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information. SECURITY PROCEDURES

We take commercially reasonable precautions and have implemented commercially reasonable technical measures intended to protect against the risks of unauthorized access to, erroneous disclosure of, and unlawful interception of personal information submitted via the Services. However, your email transmissions and/or other communications containing personal information may be unlawfully intercepted or accessed by third parties and/or the Services may be subject to hostile network attacks or administrative errors. Each party hereby agrees that such court shall have in personam jurisdiction and venue with respect to such party, and each party hereby submits to the in personam jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waives any objection based on inconvenient forum.

Changes and updates to the Privacy Policy

CSS reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make a material change to our Privacy Policy, we will provide notice to you (by posting on our website) that our privacy practices have changed and will provide a link to the new policy. In the event we make a material change to how we use your personal information, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of such new or different use. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to check for any updates or changes.

If you disagree with the terms of any Privacy Policy at any time, your sole remedy is to terminate your use of the Services. Continued use of the Services constitutes your agreement to any Privacy Policy as in effect.
